Terms & Conditions of Sales

Thanking you for considering the products offered by us. We know a major factor influencing your decision is the level of service you expect from us. Service which gives you peace of mind you will not enjoy otherwise. In order to ensure smooth delivery of our product to you, we would like to draw your attention to certain important matter.

• Cancellation or modification of order: Cloth, Formica, veneer, wood etc. Material selected by the Customer will depend on availability, if the same material is not available then Customer will either have to select other material/design or wait till same material is received. Order one placed/delivered cannot be modified or exchanged or cancelled. We may at our sole discretion of order subject to such charges or deductions as we may specify on a case by case basis.
• Price Terms: The prices quoted are the current prices. However any increase in Excise duty, VAT Tax, any other statutory levies imposed by the Central/State Government, will be charged as ruling at the time of deliver, irrespective of the time quoted in our order. Please note that we will not be able to provide any statutory or order proof for these levies/Taxes. Cost of loading/unloading installation, site cleaning etc. Will be borne by you.
• Payment Terms: At the time of placing your order we will take an advance of 50 % of the sale amount for made to order products and 100 % of the sale amount for ready items. For made to order we will specify the date by which the balance amount must be received. The delivery will be made once the full payment has been received by us. If paying by cheque please allow time for us to realize the Cheque. In case your site is not ready at the time of delivery you will have to pay the full purchase order value. In case the materials needs to be stored by us. You will have to pay inventory carrying charges i. e 15 % the purchase order value per month plus care specific insurance charges. If materials are in your custody which is different from the site. The shifting of material later to the site has to be done by you. Damages & losses resulting there from, if any, will be borne by you. Wallpaper payment 100% advance after confirmation. Credit Note is valid, in Original, for 3 months from the date of issue. Incase of loss of credit note, duplicate will not be issued. Full payment before delivery.
• Official Receipt: Please ensure that you receive our official receipt for any payment you make, we cannot entertain any claims without the receipt.
• Non-payment of balance amount: If four weeks after the due date the balance payment is not received from you. We reserve the right to treat your order as cancelled and to forfeit any advance received from you.
• Delivery: The normal delivery time vary from product to product, The actual delivery will be made according to your convenience and instructions, Please finalise the delivery details at the time of placing your order. If the buyer fails to take the delivery of goods, he shall alone be responsible and liable to pay all storage and demurrage costs and all other expenses in respect of the goods delivered to but not taken by the buyer, Delivery date may vary due to unseen circumstances, for that no refund will be provided. Delivery charges, octroi, local taxes will be levied as mentioned by traffic/road condition. If for any reason the articles sent for delivery are not accepted by you. The same will be redelivered only after the payment of redelivery charges if any as applicable. JJ Wood shall be entitled to cancel or postpone delivery in any event or circumstances arising beyond its control.
• Products improvement and changes: We regularly upgrade and improve our products and designs and reserve the right to change any specification without notice, Hence the product you receive may not be exactly what is displayed by us or as illustrated in the product literature.
• Warranty: No guarantee of any kind of imported products, glasses, fabrics and cushions. No guarantee on any furnishings and fancy items. Warranty may be provided on certain products as indicated or mentioned.
• For major clause: In case of performance disruption due to natural disasters (like earthquakes hurricanes, floods etc.) Wars, riots or other major upheaval, performance failure of parties outside our control. (E.g. telephone service, labour actions in our vendors/service providers etc.) JJ Wood will not be held liable.
• Liquidated Damage: No LD clause will be acceptable.
• Price Escalation Clause: Our prices are subject to increase due to sharp increase in input costs.
• Litigation Resolution: In the unlikely case of a litigation would be under the jurisdiction of Panvel court only.
• Repairing and Re-polishing: Any product/item received for repairing /repolishing etc. Will be returned at your cost, if desired and should be collected within 7 days from the date of intimation, failing which JJ Wood is at full liberty to dispose them without any further notice and compensation.
• Design Specification: The design/structure dimensions/material specification mentioned in our catalogues are subject to changes without any notice keeping in view the continuous research and development for continuous improvement.
• Note: Please note that the packaging accompanying the product is the sole property of the company and has to be returned back to transporter/company's representative. Our offer is strictly governed by the above terms and condition only, unless otherwise amended/agreed upon by us in writing. We reserve the right to determine whether the goods have been used or damaged after post/pre-sale inspection.
• Service: Goods will remain the property of JJ Wood. Unit full repair / replacement / service charges have been realized. Service hours from 1pm to 4pm.
• Validity: Validity of rates varies Item wise,so it will be decided by the company solely.
• Exchange Policy: No exchange for carpets, artefacts, lamps and artificial flowers. No exchange on discounted item. No Exchange without Original Bill. Cash refund is not allowed. We issue only Credit Notes.
